How Maryland Banks: Access to Insured Deposit Accounts in Maryland

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond – Baltimore Branch (FRBR – BB) will host this webinar to highlight how financial institutions can and do offer low-cost accounts. The objectives of the webinar are:

1.  to increase the number of financial institutions offering deposit products that meet the National Account Standards in communities all across the state of Maryland, and
2.  to inform community partners and municipalities about the resources available to assist the financially challenged populations in Maryland.

All are welcome–financial institutions, non-profit organizations, community-based organizations, state and local government, and stakeholders interested in expanding financial independence to Maryland consumers.
